DISEASE STARTS DECADES BEFORE DIAGNOSIS
ARE YOU LOOKING
FOR IT?
Your labs say normal.
But your intrinsic capacity —
the physical and mental reserve that decides how you'll live at 80 — may already be slipping.
Annual physicals miss it. Dr. Alexis Anvekar built a way to find it and track it every year, so you can act the moment something shifts.
THE SCIENCE IS CLEAR
The SILENT GAP™
IS A 10–25 YEAR WINDOW
of pre-disease
that your annual checkup is missing.
Living Method's CogSpan System was built to detect it.
Anyone over 35 could be somewhere on this timeline. Where are you?
Age 35–45
THE SILENT GAP™ WINDOW IS WIDE OPEN
SIGNAL ONSET
Insulin sensitivity, mitochondrial efficiency, and inflammatory tone begin to drift. Nothing hurts. Everything looks normal. This is the easiest decade to act in — and almost nobody does.
Age 45–55
THE SILENT GAP™ WINDOW IS STILL OPEN
THE CRITICAL WINDOW
The first felt symptoms: the afternoon crash, the recovery that takes three days, the word that won't come, the sleep that stopped working. Dismissed as stress, parenting, or a busy season. Conventional medicine has no reason to act.
Age 55–65
THE SILENT GAP™ WINDOW IS NARROWING
MEASURABLE CHANGES
Now it shows up: on a lipid panel, an A1c, a DEXA scan, an MRI. What was a modifiable pattern becomes a named condition — and treatment shifts from prevention to management.
Age 65+
THE SILENT GAP™ WINDOW IS CLOSING
DIAGNOSIS
By the time most conditions are diagnosed, much of the damage is already done. Care shifts from protecting what you have to managing what you've lost.
30–60%
Dementia is the starkest example of The Silent Gap™: 30–60% of neurons may already be lost at diagnosis. The same shape shows up in heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and the slow muscle loss that decides how you move at 70.
"Normal" is a population average. It was never built for you.

Dr. Anvekar talks about how she built Living Method's CogSpan System™ to detect The Silent Gap™
She watched her mother disappear.
First the forgotten names. Then the lost words. Then the diagnosis: dementia. A few years later, her mother was gone, and all Dr. Anvekar had left were decades of medical records.
So she read every page.
Dozens of small findings, each one dismissed as “nothing.” But when she organized them into domains of health, she had a light-bulb moment: organizing the "nothings" revealed a pattern that showed that two main domains of health had been actively insulting her mother’s brain for at least 17 years before anyone said the word dementia. It had been there all along. Her mother had been in The Silent Gap™.
Out of her loss came a breakthrough. Dr. Anvekar invented the patent-pending CogSpan System™, a mathematical model that turns biomarkers into ten scores of intrinsic capacity: the physical and mental reserve that shapes how well you’ll live at 80. It puts her among the first physicians in a new field of longevity medicine to specifically focus on measuring and preserving intrinsic capacity before disease takes hold.
Her mother’s pattern was found too late. Yours doesn’t have to be.
ONE IN FOUR
aged 20 to 39 have no idea
that they already meet criteria for metabolic syndrome — the quiet
engine behind heart disease, diabetes, and cognitive decline.
ONE IN NINE
aged 65+, lost their window to act
because they are already living with Alzheimer's — roughly 7.4 million people.
The biology behind it begins decades before the diagnosis.
NHANES 2011–2018: 22.2% of adults aged 20–39, rising to 25.3% in the most recent cycle.

ARE YOU IN THE GAP NOW?

The Wall
The energy crash that never used to happen. You used to power through. Now you're managing around it.

Something Feels Off
Same diet. Same training. Different outcome. Something changed metabolically and no one can tell you what happened.

Slower Recall
Names and words take half a second longer than they should. You catch yourself searching for language that used to arrive on its own.

Nothing Left
Your family is right there — and you have nothing left to give them. Fatigue doesn't clock out at 5 pm.

Three CogSpan™ Physical Tiers.
160+ Biomarkers.
Ten Scores tracked every year.
One better future.
A pattern-recognition system scores ten domains against optimal ranges,
not normal ones. We treat the domain as soon as it is revealed by the pattern. We don't wait for a diagnosis to treat.

Case study: Larry, 38, was struggling to find names at work and felt his gut was inflamed.
His Tier 3 CogSpan™ Physical revealed a primary pattern in Brain Performance & Cognitive Aging despite his young age. Testing showed memory-recall deficits, abnormal neuroinflammation markers and a mold exposure known to affect the brain. His mold source traced to his refrigerator line. After the source was removed and he completed a Living Method detox protocol, he reported improvement within two months.
Case study: Alejandra, 49, had trouble focusing, hot flashes, weight gain, gut issues and fatigue. Her doctor said her hormones and labs were normal.
Her Tier 2 CogSpan™ Physical found elevated phthalates (hormone-disrupting environmental toxins) and lingering neuroinflammation from an old concussion. She removed the phthalate sources and began a treatment protocol. After four months, she reported that her hot flashes, gut issues and fatigue had improved by more than 75%, and her focus by 50%.
Case study: Mark, 52, said his "brain powered down at 2 pm" but had normal labs from his doctor.
His Tier 1 CogSpan™ Physical pinpointed where to focus first: Mitochondrial Energy & Oxidative Stress. After targeted oral and IV treatments, his symptoms improved and his score rose more than 10 points.

Normal isn't good enough when we're looking decades ahead.
One day to measure what matters. Ten scores to guide what comes next.
Retested every year, for life.
Every Living Method Executive Physical begins with one coordinated day of advanced testing. Rather than presenting you with pages of disconnected laboratory results, we evaluate and organize hundreds of individual data points into your 10 Living Domain Scores. Each data point is measured against optimal ranges, not normal ranges.
These scores reveal patterns across brain health, metabolism, sleep, cardiovascular health, physical function, inflammation, hormonal health, cellular energy, resilience and environmental risk—providing a clearer picture of where your health stands today, and, retested every year, where it's heading.

Everyone over 35 needs a baseline. Especially:
The Early Mover
Thirty-something, healthy on paper, and unwilling to find out at 55 what could have been found at 35.
The High Performer
Leads high-stakes work and has started noticing the first tax on energy, focus, and recovery.
The Woman in Transition
Perimenopause, postpartum, or somewhere in between — where the standard reference ranges fit worst and the dismissal comes fastest.
The Adult Child
Watched a parent go through dementia and is determined not to repeat it.
