STRENGTH & BALANCE STUDIO

Build the Physical Foundation That Everything Else Depends On

Skeletal muscle is not an aesthetic concern; it is a clinical one. Muscle mass is among the strongest independent predictors of longevity, metabolic health, fall prevention, and cognitive resilience in the peer-reviewed literature.

After age 40, adults lose 3–8% of muscle mass per decade without deliberate intervention, a process called sarcopenia that accelerates with age and is directly associated with loss of independence, increased fracture risk, and shortened healthspan. Strength training is the most evidence-supported intervention we have to reverse it.

At Living Method, we treat strength as a medical priority not a lifestyle add-on.

THE STUDIO

Our Strength & Balance Studio is a physician-guided, small-group training environment with a maximum of eight people per session. It is not a crowded fitness floor or a one-size-fits-all class model. Every session is designed and delivered by our Chiropractor and Fitness Director credentialed professionals who understand the intersection of musculoskeletal health, biomechanics, and longevity medicine.

What makes our studio clinically distinct is the data behind it. Programming is built from your body composition results, metabolic testing, cardiovascular performance data, and physician input — meaning your training is calibrated to your actual physiology, not a generic protocol. Every session has a purpose, and every six months, your DEXA Total Body Scan objectively confirms whether it's working.

This is training with accountability built in.

WHAT WE ADDRESS

Strength and balance training at Living Method is designed to support the physical pillars of healthy aging — each of which has direct implications for long-term independence and quality of life.

Muscle Mass & Strength — Structured resistance training is the primary tool for building and preserving lean muscle tissue, which supports metabolic rate, insulin sensitivity, and physical capacity throughout aging. Grip strength alone is a validated predictor of cardiovascular health and all-cause mortality in the research literature.

Balance & Fall Prevention — Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death in adults over 65, and balance deficits begin developing decades earlier. Our sessions incorporate targeted balance and proprioceptive training to address this risk proactively — before a fall occurs.

Bone Density — Weight-bearing and resistance exercise are among the only interventions clinically shown to stimulate bone remodeling and slow age-related bone density loss. For women approaching or in menopause, this becomes a critical and time-sensitive priority.

Mobility & Functional Movement — Strength without mobility creates rigidity. Our programming integrates functional movement patterns that translate directly to daily life — getting up from the floor, carrying, lifting, reaching, and moving through life with confidence and ease.

Recovery & Physical Resilience — Structured training, when properly programmed and recovered from, reduces systemic inflammation, improves sleep quality, and increases energy — effects that compound over time and support every other intervention in your Living Method protocol.

THE DEXA ADVANTAGE

Every bundle membership includes DEXA Total Body Bone and Muscle Composition Imaging every six months. This is not optional, and it is not incidental; it is the measurement layer that transforms training from effort into evidence.

A DEXA scan provides precise, segmental data on lean muscle mass, fat mass distribution, and bone mineral density broken down by region of the body. This means we can see exactly where you are gaining muscle, where you are losing fat, and whether your bone density is trending in the right direction. Generic fitness tracking cannot do this. A scale cannot do this. DEXA can.

The result is a training program that evolves with your body and proves its own effectiveness over time.

PRICING

Small Group Classes $45 per session. Physician-guided small group sessions, maximum 8 participants, led by our Chiropractor and Fitness Director.

Small Group Bundle $38 per session, six-month commitment. Twice-weekly sessions plus DEXA Total Body Bone & Muscle Composition Imaging every 6 months. The most comprehensive and cost-effective path to measurable physical transformation.

Private Training $100 per session — $450 for 5 sessions. One-on-one sessions with individualized programming, ideal for patients with specific rehabilitation needs, performance goals, or those who prefer dedicated personal attention.

Chiropractic Care $200 initial — $125 follow-up Includes cupping and e-stim therapy as needed. Integrated with your training program to address musculoskeletal dysfunction, optimize biomechanical patterns, and support injury prevention and recovery.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This program is designed for adults who understand that physical capacity is not something to maintain passively; it is something to build deliberately. It is particularly well-suited for adults over 40 experiencing early strength or balance decline, women in perimenopause or menopause for whom bone density and body composition are active clinical concerns, patients recovering from injury or deconditioning who need a supervised and medically informed return to training, high performers who want their exercise programming to be as precise and data-driven as the rest of their health protocol, and anyone who has been told to "exercise more" without being given a specific, measurable, physician-guided plan to do so.

All training programs are physician-supervised and integrated with your broader Living Method care plan. Individual results vary.

A physician or clinical evaluation is recommended before initiation of any exercise program.
